Get to Know Us

Windy Tree, Inc started business in 1996 as a subcontractor for Southern California Edison, performing routine maintenance trimming for their utility line clearance division over 14 years.
While subcontracted for SCE, our crews also provided services for various vegetation management projects in territories such as the remote mountainous areas of Shasta Trinity Forest in Northern California for Western Area Power Administration.
Windy Tree, Inc has been a primary contractor with Pacific Gas and Electric since 2000, continuing work in divisions such as Distribution Routine Maintenance, Integrated Vegetation Management, Transmission Right of Way, Public Safety and Reliability, Enhanced Vegetation Management, System Hardening, Tree Risk Inventory, Catastrophic Event Memorandum Account (CEMA), and Emergency or Major Events including Storm Response.
While contracted for PG&E, our crews also provided services in New Mexico for Jemez Mountains Electric and in Northern California for Sacramento Municipal Utility District.
Windy Tree, Inc continues to provide Electrical Line Clearance Vegetation Management throughout Socorro Electric Cooperative, Inc service territory in New Mexico.
