Windy Tree, Inc works to bring environmental awareness to communities by volunteering in events that provide information to the general public. Windy Tree, Inc has participated in utility sponsored Arbor Day and Earth Day events, volunteered in clean-up projects, and distributed educational handouts provided by entities such as Cal Fire.

Windy Tree, Inc also strives to minimize its own environmental impacts through the use of low to zero-emission vehicles and equipment, as well as implementing sustainability strategies such as reduction in idling, ride sharing, and fuel efficient driving.
